Europe Unpacked was established in 2008 to help Australian and New Zealand travellers get the most out of their European holiday. My goal is to provide a place where travellers can find all they need to plan, research and prepare for their trip. There is a lot of helpful information on-line and in books.

Europe is a fascinating destination. But it can be confusing, especially for a first-time traveller. My aim is to make it easier and to ensure you get to experience and enjoy the very best Europe has offer.

I have a great love for travel, especially to Europe. I have acquired skills for getting around Europe and I want to share that with others.  My wife and I have recently returned from five weeks in Europe, travelling mainly in Italy and the Czech Republic, with brief visits to Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris.
